Jessica Hana Deutsch is a multi-style violinist/fiddler in Toronto.  She plays regularly in many popular Toronto venues including the Cameron House, Dakota Tavern and the Gladstone.  She also freelances, does session recording and teaches.

Now studying contemporary music at Humber College, her focus has moved to jazz, and she is thoroughly enjoying it. But while she attends classes by day, she is still out most nights in the week playing gipsy, balkan and klezmer music with The Lemon Bucket Orkestra, at a bluegrass jam, playing a latin jazz gig, or working on original compositions. With her feet in so many doors, Jessica has developed versatility as well as originality in her playing and improvising. Her intense love for the violin and her ability to express herself through the instrument has garnered her attention in various music scenes.

Jessica has now begun to compose more seriously and is working with a soon to be named band on songs influenced by celtic music, Bartok, blues and more.  Keep posted for our first gigs!
