
Jessica Hana Deutsch is a multi-style violinist/fiddler in Toronto. She is well-versed in many musical idioms, among them gypsy jazz, celtic, bluegrass, swing, klezmer, latin and classical. She plays regularly in Toronto in her bands and as a freelance musician.
Jessica has amassed a large amount of experience playing in the Toronto music scene. She has played with the Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Esmeralda Enrique Spanish Dance Company, Maria Bonita and the Band and many other bands. With her feet in so many doors, Jessica has developed versatility as well as originality in her playing and improvising. Her love for the violin and her ability to express herself through the instrument have garnered her attention.
Jessica’s own project, Ozere, plays a new brand of chamber folk. Her compositions draw from classical, celtic music, klezmer and more. Check out more on the projects page.
